Cold Storage Facility Civil Works

Doolee served as the primary contractor to the client for all de-water and water management to four acres of low-lying wetlands, including clearing and grubbing of the current vegetated space in alignment with all safety and environmental management plans. Delivered by our team of Perth civil contractors, the civil works set the foundation for the facility build.

• The civil package was successfully completed and delivered to the client ahead of schedule and within the allocated budget.
• Works include importing structural fill materials to required levels for new expansion to cold storage facility over complete site.

• Doolee Construction provided all necessary management, engineers, GPS systems, plant, and earthworks equipment to efficiently execute the bulk earthworks within a challenging timeframe caused by adverse wet weather conditions.
• Importing and placing more than 35,000m3 of structural fill the fill material was carefully selected and placed according to the highest standards and specifications to meet the engineer’s requirements.
• Compaction tests were performed to ensure that the fill was compacted to the desired density.
• Detailed Earthworks and final trim carried out throughout complete site for all building footings, floors levels and preparation for road levels throughout project.
• Installation of drainage systems to enhance the existing road network and upgrade road access to structures and roads within the site.
